Estanislau Music Website Design, Development and Maintenance

Project Description

Estanislau is a fellow busy-body!

Medical interpreter, student pilot, travel agent and Neo Soul artist, this Angolan-born singer approached us to help him set up a website for his singing career.

Born in Kuito, Angola, Estanislau now lives and works in and around Pretoria, South Africa, yet his heritage plays a big part in his music. Classed as “Neo Soul”, his music ranges from love and romance songs through to nostalgic, emotional music.

For his website, we decided to go with a single page scrolling website, that is fully mobile responsive. The website navigation scrolls to the various areas on one single web page, such as Biography, Music, Videos and Gallery.

Website Design, Development and Maintenance

As a songwriter, Estanislau needed a site that is media-rich, to feature various snippets from his music, photo shoots, live shows and music videos.

Initially, the website started out with a blue colour scheme, fading through to red white and brown. These colours mostly reflected the white and red of the first album, Never Give up.

Later, we changed the animated image slider area to feature the colours of Estanislau’s latest album, Deja vu. We also added new photos of Estanislau’s latest CD and past shows.

CD Cover Design

We designed the Deja Vu CD cover, which follows an 80’s theme – distorted images, motion, and brightly lit colours against darker backgrounds.
